Our joined as one Reclaimed Recycled Teak wood Lotus Panel 3D Round 90 centimeter (about 35 inch) Diameter in Eco Friendly Water-based Black Stain and Natural Wax Finish is a marvel of intricacy and depth. Several recycled rough-hewn reclaimed Teak planks from old dwellings and community buildings are carved with an intricate Lotus pattern; the pieces are then joined by an external frame attached around the border to make a one piece hanging. This creates extra depth through a recessed main image in a frame. The stunning detail will envelope you; its beauty goes almost 2 inches deep with carved edges curling over the base carving. We use a black stain to darken the panels, lightly sand the carved surfaces to create brown highlights, and then a natural wax is applied to seal the wood. Although they do not perfectly match in thickness, the design is carved in such a way as to match closely from panel to panel.
